Mentorship: In the upcoming weeks, the Army FAO Association will roll out its mentorship program. Before we can do that, we need to identify a core cadre of Army FAO mentors across all areas of concentration. If you would like to volunteer, please click this link and fill out the application. Before you click it, you are probably asking, “What does this mean? How much time will be involved? Who will I mentor, etc?” The application includes questions that guide you and help us determine how best to utilize your mentor services. Don’t lurk, fill out the application!
Volunteers: The association is always looking for assistance, and we have one position open on our Board of Governors – Secretary. If you are interested in volunteering for this, which is a key voting board member for the association, please reach out to the president at armyfaoassociation@gmail.com. This position can be from anywhere in the world—reach out to the president to discuss the volunteer requirements for this one. Next, our Social Chair – Chris Post, 48P – has done a fantastic job over the past two years in the NCR, hosting our socials and our annual dinners. He will complete his FAO training in the coming months and will be heading to IRT. Therefore, we are looking for a new social chair, specifically someone stationed in the NCR area. If you are interested, please email the president as well.
